Honsha is a Japanese word, meaning headquarters or origin (HON=Origin and SHA=Company). Honsha associates have experienced within Toyota as former team members who learned from the source or origin of Lean.  Honsha associates have extensively studied and applied the TPS Philosophy at Toyota facilities and/or their 1st Tier Suppliers. They have been deeply exposed to the Toyota culture and its DNA, and because of this unique background, their understanding goes beyond the Lean Manufacturing toolbox. At Honsha, they have worked it, lived it, and engrained it into their way of teaching, coaching, and implementing TPS/Lean.
