About Honsha

For over 20 years, Honsha has impacted and transformed companies around the world.

Honsha is a Japanese word, meaning headquarters or origin (HON=Origin and SHA=Company). Honsha associates have experienced within Toyota as former team members who learned from the source or origin of Lean.  Honsha associates have extensively studied and applied the TPS Philosophy at Toyota facilities and/or their 1st Tier Suppliers. They have been deeply exposed to the Toyota culture and its DNA, and because of this unique background, their understanding goes beyond the Lean Manufacturing toolbox. At Honsha, they have worked it, lived it, and engrained it into their way of teaching, coaching, and implementing TPS/Lean.

For almost two decades, Honsha has built a strong reputation by implementing, training, coaching, and delivering TPS/Lean solutions that help operational efficiency and reduce costs of our clients. Based in San Diego (USA) and with offices in São Paulo (Brazil) and Tokyo (Japan), Honsha serves companies of all sizes including Fortune 500 and other major multinational corporations around the world.  Honsha clients can be found across a diverse spectrum of businesses including: Automotive, Food, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Private Equity and Finance. The purpose of Honsha is to partner with companies to help them become more competitive by eliminating waste, empowering workers, and moving them closer to the market needs and their customers.
