Hello, I’m Alecsandro Modanez. Born in Guarulhos, raised in Indaiatuba, and currently residing in Americana, Brazil. I’m delighted to be an uncle and grandfather, which are my greatest gifts. I have a passion for cooking and love to innovate and learn new dishes and flavors.
For over 20 years, I worked at Toyota do Brasil, where I was involved in implementing the Training Center for the sector. I traveled to Japan to learn how to become a trainer (sensei) in Fundamental Skills.
I was part of the first group of Brazilian Students (10 Students) certified by Toyota’s Japan headquarters in TPS (Toyota Production System). I provided training to leaders at Toyota Brazil’s Indaiatuba, São Bernardo, Sorocaba, and Porto Feliz plants, as well as the Zárate plant in Argentina. When I was Supervisor of Quality Control, I helped develop Toyota’s internal suppliers, bringing TPS concepts to over 90 suppliers.
In 2019, I became part of the Honsha Family, where I have friends whom I’ve always admired within Toyota and aspired to follow in their footsteps. As a Lean consultant, I have served companies from various sectors, always learning from people and also sharing knowledge.
I’ve also worked in Mexico, serving a manufacturer of abrasives. I learned from a great Sensei who once told me “Brazil needs Lean.” Since then, my purpose has been to disseminate this system and it’s principles, to help people and companies improve their processes.
