Hello! I am Eduardo Kiyoshi Yoshihara, a Lean business consultant with a passion for strategy and business management. I was born in Marília – SP, Brazil, and from an early age I developed an interest in solving problems of all kinds in a logical and practical way, which led me to choose the field of engineering.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the São Paulo State University (UNESP).
I worked for nearly 30 years at Toyota do Brasil, and during this period, I was transferred to Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan for 2 years. I learned about the essence of the Toyota Production System (TPS) directly from Toyota Japan experts and masters who were disciples of the “Father of TPS,” Sensei Taiichi Ohno.

I wrote a book, “FMDS from Toyota,” to share some of my knowledge and experiences gained in my career. The book provides a clear description of TPS and FMDS – Floor Management Development System, an advanced methodology on activity management.

Since 2019, I’ve been working as a Lean Consultant with large companies, such as:
Flexcon: A global company manufacturing adhesive films. Facilitating implementation of Standardized Work in units in the United States.
Raízen: One of the largest private business groups in Brazil with over 40,000 employees, operating in the sectors of sugar and ethanol production, fuel distribution, renewable energy generation, and lubricants. Guiding transformation towards a Lean Culture.

In addition to my professional career, I also highly value my family and faith. As a dedicated father and husband, I believe in the importance of balancing personal, spiritual, and professional life. I always seek to spend with my family, meditate, travel, and engage in physical activities to maintain well-being and quality of life. My hobby is playing tennis.
