Hello, I’m Jim Zehmer, former president of Toyota Auto Body California (TABC). My journey with TABC) began in 1992 when I joined the finance team. Over the years, I’ve held various leadership positions, including controller, manufacturing support general manager, and ultimately president of TABC. Under my guidance, TABC celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking a significant milestone for Toyota’s first North American manufacturing facility.

Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to ensuring excellence in administration, quality, and production control. I also had the opportunity to oversee administration functions at Toyota Motor Manufacturing de Baja California, Toyota’s vehicle assembly plant in Tijuana, Mexico, for two and a half years starting in 2016. My dedication to my community has been equally important to me. Since 2005, I’ve been actively involved with several organizations, serving on the boards of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, the California Conference for Equality and Justice, and the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House.

My academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA and an MBA in Corporate Finance from USC. I’ve also completed several Executive Development Programs during my time at Toyota.
