Hello! I am Paulo Raphael Luz, a Lean business consultant, and I hold a deep appreciation for the development of this system as a whole. I’ve learned it from the ground up and carry it with me as a way of life.
I was born in Brazil, in the city of São José dos Campos, and currently reside in the city of Indaiatuba.
My journey into the Lean universe ignited my growing interest in applying its principles and methodologies from the very first encounter. I’ve had the privilege of learning and helping individuals to develop with the aim of achieving continuous improvement.
My educational background includes a degree in Quality Management and Management Processes. I am an internal ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor. I’ve also earned certification as a trainer by TMC (Toyota Motor Corporation) from the CQ Dojo (Quality Control Training Center) and I am an Auditor in Vehicle Fire Risk Assessment.
With over 21 years of experience in the field, nearly 19 of which were at Toyota do Brasil, I’ve gained knowledge and experience through activities both in Brazil and abroad, including Japan and Argentina.
Having had the privilege of joining Honsha.ORG in 2022, I remain committed to spreading the Lean culture among our clients and partners.
In addition to my professional journey, I hold my family in high regard. As a father, stepfather, and husband, I recognize the importance of achieving work-life balance. I always strive to find time to be with my family and loved ones. I engage in physical activities at least twice a week, alternating between walking and cycling to maintain both physical and emotional well-being.
My core values form the foundation of my work as a Lean consultant. I prioritize ethics, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. I consistently endeavor to understand my clients’ needs comprehensively and provide strategic, customized solutions. Transparency, trust, and open communication are fundamental principles in my work, and I prioritize strengthening relationships with my clients and partners. When authenticity is present, genuine friendships can flourish, and that is truly invaluable.
