Hello, I’m Enio de Souza Abreu, a Lean business consultant with a primary focus on process improvement and increased productivity, grounded in the principles of the Toyota Production System (TPS), of which I am an enthusiastic advocate.

My educational background includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Unip, a postgraduate degree in Maintenance Management from FEI, an MBA in Business Logistics from FGV, and an extension in Business and Management from the University of California.

With over 25 years of experience in the industry, including 18 years as an executive at Toyota do Brasil, my consultancy work has spanned a wide spectrum of clients, from family businesses to multinational corporations, across various sectors such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance, and Production Planning.

Throughout the years, I’ve compiled a vast list of companies that I’ve had the privilege of working with, including:

⦁ Total Express: A logistics company specializing in e-commerce. My involvement centered on implementing storage logistics, distribution, and the development of a distribution center for Submarino (e-commerce).
⦁ Textron Fastening System: A metallurgical industry producing fastening elements. I was engaged to reduce air freight costs. After a comprehensive analysis of the entire process, from production to inventory management and shipping, I identified bottlenecks and inefficiencies, resulting in the achievement of zero air freight costs.
⦁ Thyssenkrupp Campo Limpo: A metallurgical manufacturing company producing forged parts. I was tasked with creating a 1500 m2 area for a machining line without the need for new warehouse investments. Through a thorough analysis of the existing facilities and stock requirements (including obsolescence, direct supply, and stock level adjustments), I successfully reduced the space from 2300 m2 to 700m2, meeting the customer’s requirements.
⦁ Thyssenkrupp Molas: Another metallurgical manufacturing company, specializing in auto parts. I implemented methodologies like VSM, 5S, and leadership awareness techniques with the aim of driving a cultural transformation toward Lean Manufacturing. This project has already yielded substantial results, with productivity gains amounting to approximately $58MM BRL.
